Cashmere

Cashmere is much finer than wool and has smoother outer scales thus it owns the properties of lightness, softness and good flexibility, especially fit for making underwear. It is light, soft, smooth and very comfortable that no other fibre does. Cashmere is a rare special animal fibre, a noble textile material. Foreigners praise it as “diamond fibre” or “soft gold”. In history, Kashmir used to be the center of exporting cashmere to the Europe, as a result, cashmere is usually called as “Kashmir(cashmere)” internationally.

The world's cashmere-producing countries mainly are China, Mongolia, Iran, India, Afghanistan and Turkey. Among them, China accounts for about 50%~60% of global production, which is up to 16000~17000 tons and owns the best quality. The major producers in China are Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Liaoning, Shanxi, Gansu, Shanxi, Shandong, Ningxia, Tibet, Qinghai, etc. Inner Mongolia has the highest yield and the best quality.

Inner Mongolia Plateau, located in Northern China, belongs to the zone of the continental monsoon climate. Because of the long and cold winter, it evolved the kind of cashmere goat. The weather is colder, the cashmere is thicker and the fibre is longer. The cashmere’s yarn number is 13μm~16μm and the length is 25mm~46mm. the cashmere is represented by Aerbasi Cashmere Goat, Alashan Cashmere Goat, Hanshan Cashmere Goat, etc.

Cashmere goats undergo an annual molt each springtime. The fine hair grabbed from the goats’ bodies by a special metal comb is called as Raw Hair. Meanwhile, the cashmere which comes from washed fine hair after carding and getting rid of coarse hairs, dead hairs and dander, are known as Dehaired Cashmere.

Cashmere has three colors of white, green and purple. Among those, the white is the most precious. The quality standard of dehaired cashmere in China is divided into 5 grades according to coarse wool rate, impurity rate and length, grading standards of white cashmere and purple cashmere are different.

At present, the quality of cashmere products is the good and bad are intermingled in the international market, however, some top brands insist on using the materials with 15μm fineness and 38mm length at all times in order to make sure that cashmere products are recognized as top luxuries.

Merino Wool

It refers to the wools of Merino wool sheep. All kinds of fine wools around the world come from merino sheep or the sheep which have merino blood.

The Australian Extrafine Merino Wool is universally recognized superior wool fibres, the yarn number of which is under 19.5μm and the length of 100 mm.

Compared with other wools, Merino Wool is much finer and softer. Its fibre texture and slight crimp promise the stronger flexibility of produced clothing, which can make the used clothes come back and possess extremely softness.

Merino wool will absorb a lot of steam and volatilize it to the air so that the clothing will has very good ventilation capacity without sticky and wet.

Unlike synthetic fibres, merino wool is a kind of active fibre. it can automatically respond to the body temperature changes of used people and bring about a comfort sense of easy to heat and cool.

Merino wool can absorb and lock in the odor from sweaty skins, making the clothes keep pure and fresh for a long time.

Through the evolution of millions of years, merino wool became used to harshest climate in the world and has evolved solar UV protective properties of its own and natural flame retardation.

Through shrink-resist treatment and Basulan process, the wool will have better performance.

Spun Silk

Spun silk is product of silk spinning and a kind of natural silk. Generally, the processed monofilament can be 0.9~1.5 with white color, which has three types of high counts(160~270nm)、medium counts(100~160nm)and others. Spun Silk is a kind of natural silk which originates from Southern China, traditionally. The spun silk yarns with long slender filament fibres are full of brightness and very skin-friendly, making it very fitting for making light and soft fabrics.

Silk is very precious as the silkworm’s life is only 28 days and each silkworm only can produce several meters in its life. Hence the pure silk does not come easily, which leads to spun silk clothing’s luxury and mystery.

Long Staple Cotton

From raw materials to manufacturing process, through to finished products, YILEI practices full-process testing to guarantee product quality from the beginning.

Quality System Certification

Long staple cotton, also known as the Sea Island Cotton, is famous for the longer fibre. It belongs to the cultivated cotton group, with large amount of heat and a long growth period needed. In the same heat condition, long staple cotton’s growth period is 10 to 15 days longer than the upland cotton.

The long-staple cotton is a best kind among cotton, grown in China, USA, Egypt, etc. Unlike the normal cotton, the long-staple cotton features flexible fibres and no pilling, also has the merits of good heat preservation, good air permeability, good draping and good wrinkle resistance. Its fibre length ranges from 33mm to 39mm and the longest is 64mm; its fibre fineness is 7000 meters per gram to 8500 meters per gram and its width is 15μm ~16μm. It has higher strength with the fault length of 33km to 40 km. It also has more convolutions and each centimeter has 80 to120. Long staple cotton & cashmere yarns are skin-friendly, warm and exquisite.

More Natural fibres

YILEI uses those which contains natural fibres such as Yak cashmere, flax fibre, ramie fibre and bamboo fibre and seeks high quality natural fibres constantly.

More Natural fibres

YILEI keeps exploring the spinning possibility of various fibres with different combinations and different yarn counts and renewing the technology and production constantly to bring about the high-quality yarns.

Cashmere&Wool Blended Yarn has a spinning range from 20nm to120nm. Based on the different degrees of bulkiness, precision and draping, it shows a variety of types and creates richer fabric value.

Spun Silk & Cashmere Blended Yarn and Spun Silk & Wool Blended Yarn have plush texture, without having to admit the weak points of plush products such as high shrinkage and pilling. Spun Silk Blended Yarns with different ratios may be used for designing unexpected fabrics with special styles. The products with a finer gloss, are smooth, bulky and easy-nursing.

Velveteen Blended Yarn is a blend of long-staple cotton and cashmere. It is natural, skin-friendly, warm and exquisite. Fabric made of it features good anti-pilling properties, good draping and wrinkle resistance.
